Great Basilicas of Italy
The "Great Basilicas of Italy" festival chorus had the extraordinary honor of performing during Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, one of Rome's most revered landmarks. Surrounded by the grandeur of Michelangelo’s dome and centuries of spiritual devotion, our voices filled the sacred space, accompanied by golden beams of light streaming through the basilica’s towering windows.
Singing "Splendor of God’s Glory" from Illuminare, with text by Italian Saint Ambrose, was a profound musical moment of awe and gratitude.

Highlights
After our unforgettable time together in Tuscany, this performance at the Vatican was a fitting and meaningful conclusion to an extraordinary experience in Italy.
Standing in such a revered space, surrounded by centuries of history and faith, made the culmination of this time together all the more profound. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this remarkable journey.

“Splendor of God’s glory,
brings forth light from light,
light of light, light’s living spring,
Day, all days illuminates.”
– Saint Ambrose
